Supporting rails on flat surfaces

The primary function of soleplates is to provide rails with a flat and smooth resting surface.

Soleplates are used to support the rails in situations where concrete is not strong enough to support crane rails. Depending on the load and the type of rail, soleplates can be made continuous or individual. In either case, they are secured in position with anchor bolts.

We manufacture the highest quality of soleplates for rail installation, made-to-measure to your requirements.

Our manufacturing process includes:

• Cutting the plates into the correct sizes
• Precision hole drilling for anchor bolts and levelling bolts
• Welding weldable clip bases and galvanising the plates
• Finishing options can be self coloured, black, coated and/or hot dip galvanised.

It is most important that soleplates are correctly levelled.
